Subject Property C (180 Street E) is located on the south end of the valley, about 18 miles east of Palmdale. The parcel's eastern boundary is 180 Street E, an unpaved dirt road; however, an exit for Highway 138 is located less than a 1/2 mile to the north. There are several large residential home sites to the west of the Subject and range land on the east. One mile to the south is the California Aqueduct. Other land uses in the area includes the Crystal Airport (less than a mile to the southwest) and the Crystalaire Country Club (2 miles to the southwest). The Subject Property sits about halfway between the moderately populated neighborhoods of Pearblossom and Pinon Hills.
